I think that the Opus 3 is very attractive...

however I simply cannot bring myself to like, even slightly, the Harry Winston case design. And so, for that reason, the Harry Winston Opus 3 isn't up my street. That said, it has a beautiful movement inside, so I would be tempted to contact Vianey Halter and see when he expects to put out some Vianney Halter-branded watches using this movement and what the price would be. (I like the Vianney Halter case design) Also, and others' mileage will differ on this point and intending no disprespect to Harry Winston watches, I would value (only slightly, mind you) a Vianney Halter more than I would a Harry Winston, case design aside.

It is a novel movement design, and for me that makes the movement all that more special and desirable; however, only you can decide whether you will grow tired of this watch. (I strongy believe I wouldn't, for what that's worth)

It's a very special watch and would accompany your Freak wonderfully. (both use novel, very distinct movements)

Let us all know how you decide.

Regards,

Andrew
