... and the microphone on my D-Lux 5 is not made for studio-quality recordings. In spite of the fact that we had a private room for the Blancpain-presentation, the chime volume of the repeater was so decent that it was barely audible on the video's soundt...

but I learned that my iPhone does an amazing job at capturing minute repeater sound even under those adverse conditions. Its not sound studio quality of course but good enough for an initial impression. Magnus
