 By: agyzace : August 24th, 2014-06:12
last Friday, I did have the chance to finally complete my FF collection, acquiring one of the presumably last Aqua Lung pieces. It is different to the standard Sport version in that it is more sober/tool-like, while less versatile than the blue Sport vers...

Congrats!

I love your dedication and passion for this model, which drives to to build a collection around it. After the Anniversary, this is my favourite modern FF. Will you dig deeper, again? Best, my good friend. Nicolas

thank you

dearest Nicolas, It is clear that this particular model has hit a chord inside of me, one can safely say that :-) I will dig deeper, once something interesting might come up in the future. Who knows what that might be? Maybe a perfect vintage, which remai...

At this point of your collection, a vintage should seriously be considered, indeed.

No need to build a complete collection of vintage, just one or two... Best, my dear Alexandros. Nicolas

I love this vintage BP FF and try to get additional one as a daily beater but cannot decide between BP FF Aqua Lung vs BL blue dial.

in case you mean

a choice between the FF Sport blue dial version and the FF Tribute to Aqua Lung, the choice is very difficult. The blue version is very rich and versatile, being understated in its colors and brushed case, but the dial is an alive beauty, offering amazing...

I am very happy for you! Thanks for sharing the love for the FF! If you don't mind me asking, why did you decide against the deployment clasp and the holes strap? Just curious... All the best, Alejandro

Thank you Alejandro

The reason I opted for the pin buckle is that I love simplicity. A deployment clasp detracts from the focus of attention which should always be the watch imho. As for the holes strap, I believe its heritage is in car racing, so I decided to stick to the v...

Blue vs Black

Which color of FF has most of the wrist time? Do you refer black more of blue?

it's split quite equally

When there is good weather (hence colors around), I tend for the blue. When the environment is more grim, I opt for black more often than not. Either way, you can't go wrong. I hope this was a bit helpful. All the very best, Alexandros
