Blancpain 1000 "Barakuda" .... What does the collective think?
Hi,
I was following this now ended auction, and was curious if there are any opinions regarding the Blancpain 1000 "Barakuda" that was listed... (sorry, can't post pics, so as tehe auction is finished, i hope it's OK to post a link)

Apparently, apart from having a refinished dial, the auction claims the rest is A. O.K. and completely original...
As these are not as discussed, i was hoping that some of the vintage BP collectors here might be able to help understand a bit more about this watch...
Was it a steal, selling at what I consider a very good price,
or is there more to the story with this watch?
Thoughts or comments anyone?
