I agree with you on the hands, looks original to me.   But like you said who cares awesome watch!!

The white paint of the hands is too clean. But the fact that the hands were changed is not a big deal. Best, Nicolas

Back in the early Eighties when I worked as a field engineer for Sperry (now Unisys) onboard the USNS Vanguard (civilian navigation engineer). I remember the Hunley. Quite a country, Scotland. Great watch, thanks for the story and pics. ^_^

these stories. that`s what our hobby is all about ! i bought 2 torneks this year on behalf of fellow collectors. and your hands are just fine, BTW. they have not been changed, they are the correct hands. maybe relumed and repainted. but that is just fine ...
