sail strap
hi there,
i thought the sail strap would be perfect but for me it did not last a year. it was a very short time. however this may have been due to a lack of proper care/maintenance.
i have still not resolved the issue and totally agree with the general sentiment that the milanese is "not working".
i will very soon look into the breitling shark mesh used on the super heritage series. see photo below. i think this could work.
possible longer term solution?
in the mean time i just ordered a nato.

look i'm sort of hopeless at working out what goes with what. can i ask for some opinions on the following.
obviously none of these are necessarily great for swimming. but as everyday bands for such an impressive watch, could they work?

Looks very vintage
The Milanese is a cool solution. I can't really tell how the balance feels on the wrist but if it feels good great. Alternatively you may one to try the same style that you find on the Omega Ploprof. I am pretty sure you will find it in 22mm but not 23mm....
