With time passing, there are some evidences which jump to our eyes and poor tortured brain... We should have never sold some watches. Here are two Blancpain I should have never let go, since we are on the Blancpain Forum ( needless to say that the list is...

Fortunately I haven't yet got the stage of needing to sell...

 By: DivingT : April 4th, 2012-00:31
..but I can understand your sorrow at letting these two go by. I remember the LIP, I remember thinking long and hard as to choosing a Milspec 1 or your LIP (in hind sight, I should have taken both!) And in a way, its maybe fortunate you don't still have t...

Indeed not

but are the pieces that came from transaction of any comfort? Would it be possible to regain them again? Best my friend Damjan

These very same ones, no. But you never know...

Here are a few photos of the beauty. I would like to get reunited with the watch if the owner ever decides to sell! Brian...

And your 3 / 6 / 9 / 12 box and papers? You don't regret it?

 By: amanico : April 5th, 2012-21:38
I just regret I didn't know you sold it, I would have bought it! Best, Biran. Nicolas.

No regret!

 By: Briandumais : April 6th, 2012-03:59
I have no regret on that one. But i like the rough and tough finish of a military watch like this one! Brian...

We can't keep all, indeed. That is the sad thing for us.

 By: amanico : April 6th, 2012-04:11
I had to sell a few to upgrade my collection... Now, I want them back... A well known story. Best, Nicolas

Hello Nicolas! Sad to know some old ghosts haunt you...

 By: Subexplorer : April 6th, 2012-06:55
... but you know, we all have some regrets in life, having letting go some object we shouldn´t. All I wish, is that the leaving of those beautiful FF, had a good cause to go, and are replaced by super nice piece in your collection now. I do not presently ...

It is mandatory to let some go, Abel.

 By: amanico : April 6th, 2012-07:04
Now, thanks to my ex Vintage FFs, I was able to get some of the nicest. But regrets are our eternal feelings, my friend. Best, Nicolas

Well, I will certainly keep all the Vintage FFs I own...

 By: amanico : April 6th, 2012-22:33
Lesson learned... If I can find the 2 or 3 which are still missing in my collection, I would be able to end this thema! Best, Nicolas

You really deserve to find these two or three you need to complete...

 By: Subexplorer : April 7th, 2012-07:45
... your FF theme Nicolas! I wish you´ll find them soon, and will be happy to know that, and that you´ll keep this fabulous collection forever. Un abrazo mi amigo! Abel

 By: amanico : April 9th, 2012-19:46
To not have sold it to me! Best, Nicolas

I am lucky

By: Le Monde Edmond : April 9th, 2012-13:45
All the watches I let go until today I do not regret. But since I have not been collecting that long (about 7years now) I am sure to make that mistake very very soon. In fact I feel it could be made this year. But thats all part of the game....! E ps: Nic...

Hmmm I doubt I will let go one of my remaining Vintage FFs, Edmond.

 By: amanico : April 9th, 2012-14:01
Making one mistake is human, making two mistakes is Evil! It sounds better in Latin. Best, Nicolas

Too strict

By: Le Monde Edmond : April 10th, 2012-08:24
Nicolas you are too strict with yourself! I say one mistake fine, two mistakes, well that is also human, but three mistakes is Evil. It means you cannot learn from your mistakes.....! Thats my view

LOL. Thanks for your indulgence. ;) [nt]

I remember bidding on that watch when i was on vacation in Maine. I remember sitting on the sea wall down the street getting free Wifi from one of the neighbors. Could not have gone to a nicer guy! PS. What ever happen to that hippie band? Brian
