Well, from a pure aesthetics point of view, not very fan... But it is very good to have the choice between these two cases and, horologically speaking, just impressive.

Below is a Octogonal case in Ceramic coated Titanium with a sandblasted anthracite dial... the case is 44mm and 14mm thick, absence of real lug makes it more wearable than the numbers look - having said that, it is still a BIG timepiece. FB limits this re...

great minds think alike ;-)

technically brilliant...aesthetically could have been better. the joy of winding this movement is incredible.

This watch looks insane!

Have never seen it before. Thank you for sharing.

I'm happy you like it...personally I prefer the FB1 and FB2 series

the tactile pleasure of winding, by far the best I've seen in last 2-3 years.

I love the FB 'look'...

...it has a steampunk kind of vibe combined with classic horology. I do wish they would make a smaller case, especially on the non-fusee and chain models (which I can see would need to be larger).

true, it is just short of steampunk but has the vibe...

it visually is large but as there are no-lugs, it is 44mm direct (while you take any 38mm modern timepiece lug to lug is 47mm). so wearable but visually it is bold

Glorious.

I cannot wait to see some of these watches in person at some point in time.... Cheers, thanks for the quality pictorial! Filip

This watch does nothing for me. I would never buy one🤭

simply not a good design, regardless of the price.

not surprised...

I can understand...

 By: mahesh : April 28th, 2024-09:05
same like what Nico and I say earlier, the movement is impressive - Dial side would have been better but I can appreciate the technicality and quality of the timepiece

Love it!

But why not go for a more demanding certification like metas? Even tudor is going beyond cosc.

FB is really terrible in communicating their certification.

 By: als1678 : April 28th, 2024-14:29
Their watches are subject to cosc testing, but perform way better as one can see from the result that comes with the watch. The point is that a) you are subjecting an extremely complicated watch to a certification which is really for sports watches b) you...

Is metas really only for sports watches?

 By: Henke : April 28th, 2024-15:23
The water resistance test is specced to be "25% more than manufacturer's spec" so dress watches are fine (as long as manufacturers don't lie about wr), there are no shock or impact tests. The only vaguely "sports watch" test would be anti magnetism - but ...

Instead of sports watches I should have said watches with generic ETA movements.

 By: als1678 : April 28th, 2024-16:44
Vastly simpler that anything FB makes. I don't know if there is some legal issue where you can't do cosc test and impose your own standards on top, makes other brands look bad. But no argument on the poor communication ...

My love for this brand is growing day by day

All incredible and stunning masterpieces

True...

entry into the brand is expensive, which is a challenge.

The case shape

 By: Weems@8 : April 28th, 2024-07:28
is breathtaking, so special to see that lug solution. 44 is big, and even as the watch looks like a grail for me, fingers cross FB made a series in 38, 39, and 40. Thinner, let’s wait till the movement loose size and the watch goes direction 11mm.

visually it is big but on wrist what you wear is end-to-end 44mm too as there are no lugs. That is smaller than most modern timepieces.

 By: mahesh : April 28th, 2024-09:09
one need to get use to the visual aspect because it is bold. worth to try it and including me, my opinion changed on wearability.

A clever answer

Perfect. In January i bought a watch. With a story. With a nice surprise. It wend out i bought the perfect fitting watch for my wrist. So i measure all sizes, so to judge other watches if they stand my test. I look at an oyster perpetual with the right si...
