Hi All,

It's hard to let this one go, but it's time to find a new home for this beauty.
I'm offering for sale my Vintage Blancpain 1000m "barrakuda" vintage diver.

You can see from the pics, it's in excellent condition, a testament to the design and construction of the case. These were made for Blancpain in three colour variation, Black dial with Black bezel, Black dial with Orange Bezel, and Blue with Black bezel. From my experience the Blue (or celestial dial, as a fellow collector friend calls it, because of the almost "cosmic"effect you can see in the dial paint finish) is by far the rarest.

The watch has been completely overhauled, The AS1902/3 17 Jewel Rayville signed movement runs great, and all functions work perfectly. An NOS crystal (impossible to find!!) was installed, and a full movement service less than 6 months ago. the case shows natural signs of wear, but still shows much of the original finish.

The case back has been sterilized at some point, which was often seen on the Bundeswehr issued watches of these models, but as i have no history military provenance, i'm selling it as a civilian watch.

The watch will come with the exceptionally rare and correct mint swiss made Apollo rubber strap, and the Blue nato strap seen in the pictures.

Asking 4150$ Canadian dollars, shipping paid in the CONUS. (will ship outside of conus but shipping will be extra)
Payment by paypal or wire transfer.
