I’ve had both, luminor and radiomir.

While I sold the radiomir, I’m still in love with my luminor base since 2003. My favorite thing about this watch is winding it daily.

753, base logo Radiomir, and quite like it. Any owners on the forum? Seriously thinking of pulling the trigger on this ... A few others that I also tried on ... Green California dial: A base logo luminor ... And, a submersible ... But, the base logo Radio...

I’ve had both, luminor and radiomir.

The base models in my post are manual wind as well, and that's one of my favorite features. Do you miss the seconds hand on your watch?

It’s the only watch I have without a seconds hand. I think it’s fine.

And I love that it’s time only. So easy to set when I want to wear it.

😍

Is that a 114?

I love this watch. I remember seeing Sly in these and wanted one as a teenager.

The 0010 was offered by AD at 40% off. Do you remember that time? I think it was around 1k. Such a great deal for this amazing watch. ...

The Radiomir is great, especially the base models.

Their simple dials and shapely cases make Radiomirs surprisingly versatile watches. A couple of shots of my PAM 210 - now living in Japan on the wrist on a good friend. And my PAM 183 - for those who enjoy a little movement on the dial. ...

Nice pics!

The Radiomir was very comfortable on the wrist. I was very tempted to buy it on the spot ...

I agree. 👍

With a PAM 210 you get a cleaner look (no logo), a sandwich dial, and a display caseback showing off a nice looking, hand-winding Unitas movement.

Good suggestion!

But, I'm a bit paranoid about the fakes, especially for Panerai. On Chrono24 I'm seeing only two available with box and papers and both are private sellers.

Great pics!

Love the minimalist dials of both!

232?

Simple is best

Whether you go for a running second or not and radiomirs are very elegant compared to the macho vibes of luminors. One thing to be aware of however, reflections in the sapphire are a royal pain and depending on your personality can be a complete show stop...

Interesting!

Didn't think about that!

That's it.

Some of the "issues" with the new bases are (a) no sandwich dial and (b) "driven" caseback, instead of screwdown caseback (although both have the same 100m WR). These features are available at a higher level with the Tre Giorni models, but I'm not a big f...
