Go with the WG

If the difference in cost doesn't concern you, I would definitely go for the WG. The finishing on the case for the WG model really improves the overall look of the watch. Also I firmly believe since it's gold and a precious metal it will retain it's value better than the non precious titanium model.

RM010 Advice WG or Ti?

 By: Mal0ne : May 6th, 2011-08:43
I'm about to purchase my first RM and think the RM010 is a good place to start. I'm not sure which metal to go for I think the rose gold looks great but I would prefer to wear it to the office and the Ti and WG seem a little more subtle. What are people’s...

Ti for me...

I'm a big fan of RMs in Titanium. For me, it just feels like the right material for his high-tech watches. I have an RM 010 in Titanium and love it. It can be sporty on the rubber strap, or dressy with one of the crocodiles. Good luck with your decision! ...

Much in agreement with your points Chris! Keep on wearing and enjoying your 10! Cheers Stephen P.S. I particularly like that with the croc on!

RM WG & Ti Pics

 By: Mal0ne : May 7th, 2011-01:48
Thanks for the picture of the Ti model looks great on the croc. Does anyone have a picture of the Ti and WG side by side? The only difference I can see from pictures is WG has polished edges and the Ti does not.........guess I need to see them in the fles...

We have discussed this at various times...

And the general answer is that you should go with the one that works for you; even the rose gold. If the rose gold one is the one that you really like, then you should get that. However, if you want to go with a white metal, probably better to go with gol...

Wg vs Ti

 By: gavidev : May 7th, 2011-16:45
I had a similar dilema when I was buying my 010. I was able to try them both and there is a more of a difference than one would imagine. The ti model is 100% a sports watch. It wears very light and the darker tone of the ti makes it look more "machine" th...

with all three models in question and the rose was by far the most eye catching, but it sounds like you don't want the attention. I loved the Ti and it wore so well that you forgot you had the watch on. I was not a huge fan of the white gold. This is just...

WG vs Ti

Thanks for the feedback. I like the RG but your right I dont want it to catch too much attention. So did you prefer the look of the Ti to the WG? Does the finish look nice on the Ti? I quite like the look of the polished edge on the WG. I should be seeing...

What about 'ding-proofness'?

 By: RobCH : May 9th, 2011-03:44
For what it's worth, the Ti will be a bit more resistant to scratches and dings than the WG, if you are prone to attracting knocks... I've often looked at them both side by side, and looks-wise there's not much in it. IMO it's more of a weight-on-the-wris...

Ti is the winner!!

I saw the Ti and WG side by side today and I prefer the Ti it was far more comfortable and better looking imo. All I need to do now is buy it

Another vote for WG..

Had similar dilemma between the three metals.. However mine was with the RM011. After a couple of visits to the AD I ended with the WG version (with three straps for different moods/occasions). The RG was a nice first impression but kinda loud and doubt i...

My first RM was a RM10 WG (w/black rubber on now), for similar reason. Second piece, couldn't resist the allure of their RG so got the RM10 MDDS (diamond bezel ;p, brown crocs), this piece I regretted a bit buying as it practically just sits there in the ...
