Thank you for the very honest post. We all get fazed because something didn't live up to expectations; a bit of a betrayal. But when that same something does an act out of kindness, it's always a nice unexpected gesture.
I recently met the first Blancpain that I really liked; the Bathyscaphe. Blancpain is on my radar.

I've long had a soft spot for the watches from Blancpain, going all the back to their pre-J.C. Biver days - After their revival in the beginning of the 1980's, I was an early adopter, attracted by their classicism and developments in higher complications ...

And I also like stories with a happy ending. I have been known to walk past and into Blancpain dealers and boutiques that are not necessarily on the way home! Looking forward to part 2. Andrew H
