I could be of service. Seriously, it is an incredible watch. I own many watches, but nothing gets anywhere near the wrist time that this one as well as the blue version get.
If you like simple watches or divers, I have not experienced anything that beats the FF in terms of uniqueness, shape, mechanism, robustness, etc.
Looking forward to your post when you receive yours!
All the very best,

desert island watch
By: agyzace : May 3rd, 2014-00:54
As I was sitting in the lobby of my hotel in Abu Dhabi after the completion of a three day conference, I took some time off waiting for my flight which was much later in the day. I was wearing the Fifty Fathoms Sport during this trip, and while I looked a...

I love the way you elaborated your choice. And I love to see you loving these modern FFs so much, too. Tough call, my friend... If I had to be pragmatic, then to think that I may be stuck in a desert island for a long time, then I would take a Rolex. And ...

...for some mysterious reason I had suspected that a Rolex would have been your choice. A Sea-Dweller would have been my second choice actually. I would stick to modern probably as well, due to reliability concerns. Have a great weekend my friend! Alexand...

I always think on this purchase, always. there are a couple of watches in the range of 5/7K€ in my wishlist, but it happens i drop. concerning the FF it's only a matter of size, don't get me wrong, i easily wear Panerai in 44mm case, but the Blancpain see...
it wears small
By: agyzace : May 3rd, 2014-08:49
Hi Christian, the FF wears much smaller than a 45mm watch due the fact that: 1. the watch closes in downwards, meaning that at the base (where it comes in contact with the hand), it is probably more a 39mm 2. the bezel is a nice size, hence the dial is muc...

I recently purchased the Blancpain FF Sport and have been wearing it about 90% of the time since. It has a lot of competition for wrist time - Nautilus 5980, Rolex GMT II and Sub, Heuer Monaco, Grand Seiko GMT, GP 1945 Chrono XXL, and an RGM 801E. It seem...
deserted island watch
By: edwardwchang : June 25th, 2014-20:12
agree that this watch should be on any deserted island watch shortlist. RE: reliability compared to a 3 hand or 3 hand + date rolex, i think the f piguet movement is just as reliable as the workhorse movements in the submariner line of rolex, or even for ...
It's nice to feel that kinship with a watch

I used to fantasize about the dessert island quite a bit, and I always thought Rolex Sub LV mainly because it's a true tool watch, a diver. These days it's hard to say... I think it would probably still be the LV. This assumes that the island is an island...
this is the post that tipped the scales for me
By: mr_gray : August 5th, 2014-22:11
it was based on this "review" in hindsight, that the momentum built to where it was not a matter of if i would own the FF but when. hopefully it will arrive soon and then i can consider whether it would also be my desert island watch. i really like my hul...
