other brands are much slower

I won't name names--that makes it too red hot.  But one EXTREMELY famous Geneva brand took 11 months to service a watch and then got it wrong.  It had to go back to them 9 times and the service celebrated its third anniversary!  That is my worst experience.  Another brand took 9 months for a service.  Yet another 8 months.  Yet another 8 months.  Basically when shipment to Europe is involved service industry wide NEVER happens faster than 3 or 4 months because the shipping process (which includes customs etc) is so slow and cumbersome.

So honestly, take a deep breath, the time frame you were given is not out of line and is on the better part of the industry wide service "bell curve"

Oh and one more thing:  throughout the course of my 3+ year service nightmare with the Geneva brand, I never once chose to rant on the internet.  Accomplishes nothing.

to me your comment sounds too much like a simple hearsay statement. Many owners have different experience with Blancpain service - I for my part cannot complain at all. But I live in a country with a boutique and service centre, so it may be a totally dif...

I had a great experience with Blancpain's service a couple of months ago in their Zurich Boutique. In spite of the fact that I was in Switzerland for only a week and they had a national holiday, the manager took my FF and sent it to the repair center to r...
