I have a Google Pixel (Android) phone which does not have the app, so I do use the browser on it. I also have an iPad on which I generally use the app to view the forums but I also use a browser to make replies, edits and additions. That said and generally speaking, I am mostly sitting in front of my 27" monitor for almost anything online and computing. My phone is the least used device of all.

You are not doing anything wrong...
It is the nature of the iOS app which sometimes shows your reply under another reply. But, if you go to the browser, you will find that your reply is under the original post. Check this thread out on the browser and you will see what I mean: www.watch...
Also, if you post using the app, you won't get the opportunity to request an email alert on replies to your posts

Thanks! I think at one point I did cross reference against the browser and while I was not rigorous enough to really check, I think I noticed something was different.
Do you use the browser on your phone or are you not on an iPhone? And therefore it doesn’t matter?
