Horological Meandering

First, Airain takes the standard Type 20 (black dial, steel case) into permanent availability instead of small production batches upon pre-order only. Second, it launches an - in my view - very attractive limited edition (134 peices) called "Furtivité" wh...

...... some production will be "unlimited" but still only a few hundred due to the current company model, some will be "limited" (usually just the dial color variations to the classic re-edition). But in general I agree that "LE" has become an over-inflat... 

Now there is a grey one. It looks damn good, but gives me pause. I don't buy into exclusivity, and never buy a watch for that reason, but when you advertise such and then change for another cash grab - not a good look, IMO.

If I would not have already one, it would be this one!

But I definitely prefer my green in regular stainless case.

I remember the mention that there will be only 134 Verde models and no more will be produced but nothing was said about any other models/colors. Did I miss something?

Honestly I perceived it also this way. If Tom wants to produce every year another 1 or 2 limited series, that‘s absolutely fine, if it‘s communicated this way… 👍🏻

Let me state I really like Tom, and I love my watch. One of the best watch purchases I have made, and I posted that before. But I did understand it to be the last different version he would make.

I know it's against tradition, but I still wish manufacturers would migrate to 12-hour chronographs.

But I love type 20, and overall I think Airain is making handsome watches.
